Centred around Wilson’s own homecoming to his native Scotland, Ross’s new album “The Water of Leith” explores the variety of journeys that life has to offer. As he explains;
“It speaks to the journey home, my journey home, the man that I am today, so changed from the wee boy that ran away. I’ve found a peace that I left looking for, back on the same cobbled streets, looking at my life through a fresh pair of glasses. Controversially for a songwriter, it seems, I am contented, happier than I’ve ever been. Given up all hope of a better past, I’m rejoicing living in this beautiful series of moments.
The Water leads me back to the Shore and, from there, who knows? What I have learnt, however, is there is nothing wrong with right now.”
